3D.

In this 3D piece I trying to highlight the vain like structure of the inner section of the seed head. I used straws which were glued between two sheets of brown paper to achive this, I also used corrigater card to create the curve of the outer section of the seed head.

It was the beautiful curves and texture of my object which I found most attractive. I wished to re-produce these curves and texture by making this work. I used card and kitchen paper and water colours to create the texture.

I used waxed muslin and soft leather to re-create the texture and soft folds in my object.
